After the Annual General Meeting of last year in Athens, our individual members will further discuss in Bratislava the views, growth and organisation of ALDE Party individual membership. For the first time in the young history of our individual membership, there will be a general meeting held at the fringe of an ALDE Council. On Saturday morning 9 May, individual members are invited to gather in the heart of Bratislava, only a 20 minutes walk from the Grand Hotel River Park, where the ALDE Council starts later that same day.
Since 9 may is the Day of Europe, the individual members’ Steering Committee aims to not let their presence being unattended to the people of Bratislava. Slovakia is led by the liberal president Zuzana Čaputová. The Steering Committee believes that as a true liberal she stands up for the freedom for everybody and for respect for the rule of law and these are our top priorities for a European Union that works for all. Therefore the individual members like to value and support her work with their visible presence.
